While the renowned Art Basel 2019 is set to kick off next week, Switzerland will also be running the first art fair dedicated to the creative art of photography. To be precise, the event, suitably titled the “Photo Basel”, will see a collection of weeklong instalments represent a wide array of international photographers.
Interestingly, the whole event has been curated by the highly-respected photo specialist that is Daniel Blochwitz, and will take up two floors of the Volkshaus Basel venue, both of which will contribute to the grand total of 41 exhibitors from 15 countries.
