Following the release of ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’, the highly-anticipated album from the renowned London-based rapper, Skepta, the creative sat down to speak about the project’s significance and creation process. However, this interview was a little more natural than usual as he spoke with none other than Julie Adenuga, the Beats 1 Radio presenter who also happens to be his sister.

Shortly into the 7-minute interview we see find out that the album was inspired by his psychedelic pondering, this is before the topic moves onto the album cover and its importance, as well as a number of other subjects. Finally, the two wrap up the meeting with a brief discussion regarding how people think they know what’s best for you, with Skepta stating that most of the advice people gave him would have made it impossible to create what ended up being some of his biggest tracks ever.
