Sneakerheads everywhere were excited to see Mathew M Williams‘ take on an Air Force 1-esque sneaker. What’s even better is that through his 1017 ALYX 9SM label, the pair will, of course, feature the famous buckle.
As for what to expect, the pair land with either an all-white or all-black colourway. This is constructed from premium perforated leather and sits upon a thick and fairly-flat midsole. Finally, the two pairs are rounded off with the classic rollercoaster buckle strap. This fastener is obviously most recognised from the brand’s more popular jackets and hats, but has been miniaturised for the sneakers’ sake.
