Hong Kong based auction house, Sotheby’s, has teamed up with their local creative studio, AllRightsReserved, to hold a charity auction; supporting Tung Wah Hospitals deal with Coronavirus aid. 

The auction will bring many unique works of art and one-off pieces together and all proceeds will go to the Share Love & Fight the Epidemic campaign for the hospitals. When asked his thoughts on the auction Creative Director of AllRightsReserved, S.K Lam said, “we are very excited to join Sotheby’s for the first time and present these iconic collectibles to the world… Many of these works represent a precious, shared memory for us since our start-up, and it is extra meaningful to be able to donate our proceeds from the sale for a good cause in the local community.”

Some notable pieces due to feature in the auction include, Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s yellow rubber duck sculpture (estimated to go for between $3,600 and $6,200 USD), as well as limited pieces from Kaws, Verdy, Yu Nagaba, David Shrigley and Joan Cornellà

There will also be collaborative pieces up for grabs, including AllRightsReserved x Moncler Mr. Moncler Black Vinyl Figure (~$450 USD to $700 USD) and other sculptures like DoraemonSTAND BY ME” Wood Sculpture (~$390 USD to $650 USD), Verdy’s Vick “GDC” Lamp (~$2,600 USD to $3,900 USD), Yu Nagaba’s Skateboard Bench ($3,900 USD to $6,500 USD),  and a pair of Nike SB Dunk Low made out of wood and alongside Hong Kong artist Michael Lau.
