Excitement for Star Wars’ upcoming instalment has been building rapidly and rightfully so as the last episode of the franchise’s latest trilogy is set to hit cinemas near the end of this year.
Well, now it looks like excitement might be hitting its peak as not only has the 9th movie’s title been released, but also its trailer. As for what we have seen, the teaser for ‘Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker’ sees many recognisable faces return, most notably showing Billie Dee Williams‘ return as Lando, Kylo Ren settling in to his role as the new Supreme Leader, Luke Skywalker saying “No one’s ever really gone”, and even Rey reuniting with General Leia – a shot that really packs a punch now due to Carrie Fisher’s tragic passing.
