Sony's PlayStation had undeniably been one of the game industry's biggest and longest-running consoles, that's exactly why it's so exciting to hear that the company have already seen developers start creating games for the next instalment of the console.

Specifically, according to reports, PS5 dev kits have been acquired by a number of studios such as Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio and Sucker Punch. Although this means that their attentions are being taken away from the current console, Sony is still set to receive a number of strong PS4 titles at the beginning of the year while an array of cross-gen games are set to follow.

If this news is exciting to you then you are in luck as more info is set to become available at the Game Developers Conference which is set to take place within the next couple of months. As for the PS5, it's set to land sometime in 2021.
