After Lifetime's 'Surviving R. Kelly' was aired, the American singer, songwriter, record producer, and former professional basketball player that is R. Kelly had a number of artists take down all the tracks in which they collaborated with him. Not only this but he has also been removed from the RCA website.

As for why this is a big deal, R. Kelly signed to Jive in the 1990s, however, Sony BMG shortly absorbed it and essentially turned it into RCA Records, the label that the R&B signer was signed to since 2012.

The fact that he no longer appears on their website suggests that the two are definitely parting ways, something that isn't surprising as protests outside the Sony building in Manhattan have been taking place rather regularly.
