So the game that has undeniably taken the world by storm this year is Fortnite, however, it will be interesting to see if Epic Game’s creation will be able to keep players interested ongoingly into the future. Having said that, the game developers have continued to bring out more and more updates in order to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting, so with that said it’s a good time to mention that Fortnite has just recently announced a new temporary game mode and below you can read exactly what it will entail.
Specifically, the upcoming heist-themed Fortnite event titled “High Stakes” will see a new game mode dubbed “The Getaway” added to the list of playable options. As for what the mode consists of, the squad-based game will see teams fight to capture jewels that are hidden in safes that fall from supply drop balloons. Once a team secures a safe with a jewel inside the aim is to take the safe to a getaway van while attempting to avoid – or win – conflicts with other squads.
