Arguably one of the most underrated Grime Pioneers, D Double E, has now officially dropped his highly-anticipated debut album and it’s definitely one to take a listen to.
Specifically, the project titled ‘Jackuum’ sees East London’s very own MC finally embody his full creative energy into one album that proves that it was, in fact, worth the wait for what could just be one of the most iconic pieces of work ever made in the scene. As for what to expect, the 20-track project sees collaborative appearances from the likes of Skepta, Wiley, AJ Tracey, Littlez and more, all accompanying the hard-hitting beats provided by the array of producers involved.
As for what D Double E had to say about the release, in a statement the revered artist said: “I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into my music and so, this album will be a cornerstone to my journey so far as an artist. I’ve learnt so much through this album process and during this time of my life. I now feel ready and that I have the right support. So now, the wait is over and time for my fans to finally hear my first solo debut album “Jackuum”! I’m happy and excited to get it out to the world!! When you reload a track or take a track back to the start on my album make sure you say jackuum!!!!!!”
