Ever since Tesla announced their plan to produce the “the fastest production car ever made,” eyes have been on the tech company to see if they could actually deliver on this pretty huge promise. Well lucky for us, Jay Leno appears to have done the check up in the latest episode of the American comedian, actor, writer and producer’s latest show, Jay Leno’s Garage.
In the episode we see Leno meet with Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla’s Chief Designer, at the company’s electric automobile manufacturer’s design centre, while they are there the two hopped in the upcoming Roadster model with Holzhausen behind the wheel. What followed was a demonstration of the car’s insane acceleration speed.
However that’s not all Tesla plan to deliver with the car as they also discuss the 600-mile range and all the other tech that comes installed for the price of $200,000. Take a look at the video below.
