***THIS POST DOES CONTAIN AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR SPOILERS***

Marvel initially seemed to distrust Tom Holland as the young spider-man actor often came close to revealing many plot points about upcoming movies, well over time it seems that what was a genuine concern has turned in to a running joke as the American media franchise has started using Tom as a way of releasing info to the public in a non-traditional way.

For example, with Spider-Man 2 on its way Tom ‘accidentally’ dropped the name of the upcoming film to fans via an Instagram post that was meant to be an apology for having no news to tell anyone. In video post the actor explained how he didn’t understand how the film was going to take place due to his character tragically dying in Avengers: Infinity War – ironic that this could have been a genuine spoiler for some of his fans – he then moved on to saying sorry for the lack of news coming at Seattle’s Ace Comic Con while proceeding to lift up the alleged script reading, “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
