The renowned English fashion designer that is Kim Jones is known for teaming up with a wide range of creatives and brands. Unsurprisingly, for Spring/Summer 2022 the man at the helm of Dior is reinforcing his reputation with a collaboration with none other than Travis Scott.

From a financial point of view, it’s clear why the French fashion house would team with Scott. The Astroworld rapper has already carried out successful ventures with Nike, Epic Games, Dover Street Market, McDonald’s and Playstation to name a few. Forbes estimated that Scott’s Nike deal alone likely pays him around $10 million a year, meaning the profits Nike are seeing must be significant to say the least.

In a statement provided to WWD, Dior stated that: “This unprecedented event represents the first full Dior collection ever created with a musician for the house.”

As for what to expect from the collection, the Dior x Travis Scott was unveiled in Paris today at the brand’s first physical men’s runway show in 18 months. Inspired by Texas and the brand’s history in America, the collection boasts fairly muted colourways as well as incredibly vivid ones. Most frequently we see neon green, brown and pink take up the majority of the surface area while classic Dior branding and patterns can be seen throughout.
