Artist, Jean Jullien, has just released his latest piece of functional art. ‘Billy the lit companion’ is a porcelain lamp in the shape of a dog and has been made in collaboration with Case Studyo.
Jullien’s hand-drawn illustrations decorate the porcelain body of the lamp as well as the light bulbs; which come with either a ‘Happy’ or ‘Moody’ facial expression. Each edition measures 34cm x 8cm x 13cm and are electric wired.
Billy is described as, “a playful dog with a porcelain body, a lightbulb for a head and a radiant personality. Welcome him into your home and you’ll notice this dog will light up every room.”
