Nike‘s latest Air Force 1 has raised a few eyebrows, although some think the newest design looks like a gleaming turd, others appreciate its boundary-pushing nature.

The new Air Force 1 Experimental lands in an “Archaeo Brown” colourway. As for what it consists of, the “Archaeo Brown” iteration sees the namesake hue takeover the uppers and Swoosh. Contrasting this, the sneakers’ laces, tongues and midsoles are highlighted in “University Gold.”

The pair features a reflective coating thanks to the transparent wrap that is pressed around the construction. From here, the wrap sports an all-over print that reads “AIR FORCE 1.” Rounding off the pair is a ripstop pull tab, elastic drawstring and a Nike shoebox-esque sticker on the heel.
