Two of Japan’s biggest conglomerates have just recently joined forces, that duo being Casio G-SHOCK and, of course, Pokémon.
As for what they are collaborating on, it’s a new addition to the BABY-G line of women’s shock-resistant watches. Specifically, a revamped BA-110PKC is set to land adorned with the fan-favourite Pokémon, Pikachu. This is the second collaboration that has featured the beloved character. However, this time around it’s an analogue-digital watch with an outdoor theme, representing the active image of the BABY-G brand.
The entire BA-110PKC band showcases a camouflage pattern as well as a female Pikachu with a heart-shaped tail. The timepiece’s aesthetic is further built-up with subtle details like the silhouette of the pink tail on the strap keeper and the Pikachu image etched on the case back. The hour and minute hands also evoke the face of Pikachu, a playful touch that will delight the wearer whenever they check the time.
