The Californian sub-label that is Vault by Vans has returned, and it seems like they are staying true to their unorthodox approach to sneaker design.
As for what we can expect this time, the Vault Old Skool collection lands with the same revamped pair dressed in three vivid colourways. The iconic Old Skool silhouette has received an unusual yet exciting facelift thanks to the use of faux croc-skin. Specifically, this material has been used on the pairs’ uppers, with Vans’ trusty Sidestripe splitting the textured addition in two.
As for the hues, the collection is anchored by a bold flame colourway, but this is followed up by two additional offerings in deep blue and lemon chrome. To round the collection off, the shoes feature molded drop-in sockliners for extra comfort while outsole still uses the same waffle rubber the brand has always relied on.
