Following rumours of a Nike x Dior Air Max 95 surfacing last week, many sneakerheads have been wondering who could possibly put together a more hyped collab. Well, one person who could likely do it is none other than the talented English fashion designer and current Dior mastermind that is Kim Jones.

Interestingly, Nike and Jones have teamed to revamp the very same silhouette that the rumours claim Dior is working on, the Air Max 95. Having said this, instead of some crude concept imagery, the news comes along with a proper look at the upcoming pair.

As for what to expect, Jones‘ love for streetwear has come across as a prominent element of the new design. Consequently, we see uppers dressed in a range of materials, textures and designs, starting with a pure white wrap above the midsole, around the toebox and up the heel. From here, expect a blocked grey hue to take centre stage of the upper before it turns to a semi-translucent TPE textile that sits upon orange-detailed laces.

Along these grey panels are morse-code-esque dots and dashes, this leads all the way to the rear of the shoe where a small black Swoosh sits on the side of the heel. Rounding off the pair is Kim Jones’ own branding found on the white mudguard, orange eyestays, as well as a white midsole with orange Air Max units.

Take a look at the Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 “Total Orange” below. If you like what you see then sit tight as the pair are set to drop in 2021. If you want to be the first to know more then make sure you sign up to our newsletter.
