George Clooney Tries To Stop Astronauts Returning to a Broken Earth in ‘the Midnight Sky’

With more and more people having to stay in across the globe thanks COVID, Netflix has looked to provide yet another film, this time featuring none other than George Clooney.

Specifically, the latest flick is based on Lily Brooks-Dalton’s 2016 sci-fi novel ‘Good Morning, Midnight.’ The title, similarly to the plot, has received just a slight tweak, consequently the film has instead been dubbed ‘The Midnight Sky.’ The similarity lies in the fact that we follow Augustine (Clooney), a solitary scientist who needs to warn a team of astronauts that Earth is no longer suitable to land on due to a “mysterious global catastrophe.” The Clooney-directed film also stars the likes of Felicity Jones, Kyle Chandler, Tiffany Boone, David Oyelowo, and Demián Bichir.

Take a look at the trailer for the Midnight Sky above. If you like what you see then head over to Netflix on the 23rd of December.
