Vans has teamed up with the Miami-born brand that is Stray Rats to create a brand new set of colourways for two classic silhouettes.
Although Stray Rats was founded in Miami back in 2010, before long the label moved along the coast to reside in NYC, picking up a cult-like following along the way. Led by artist and founder Julian Consuegra; who is also known for his work on the brand FUCT, Stray Rats has been going from strength to strength.
This collaboration is part of the Vault by Vans series and has the brand reimaging two of their silhouettes; the OG Old Skool NS LX and the OG Era LX. The colourways have been named, demitasse/bosphorus, raven/racing red, Rio red and snorkel blue. They merge bold colours with dark mutual tones over animal print and elevated materials.
The Vault by Vans x Stray Rats collection is available August 14, 2020, at select Vault retailers and the Stray Rats Website.
