This week VANS released its first all-female skateboarding video entitled CREDITS. The video consists of the VANS female skate team and was shot by skater and filmmaker, Shari White.
CREDITS celebrates the growing female skate culture, which VANS proudly supports (check out ‘Girls Skate India’). The film consists of three major parts from Una Farrar, Fabiana Delfino and Breana Geering; with appearances from Vans team riders Beatrice Domond, Cher Strauberry, Clara Solar and more. The film took just under a year to make and not only showcases but highlights the ever-growing female presence within the skateboarding community.
The title CREDITS references the fact that female skaters have often only been featured in the CREDITS of skate films. Now they’re in the limelight and aren’t going anywhere soon!
