Since 2015 COMME des GARÇONS PLAY have been teaming up with Converse to bring out one of the most recognisable shoes to date. Previously, the signature heart emblem on the Chuck Taylor 70 canvas had released in simple colourways; black, white and olive. This new batch goes for a brighter, more vibrant, selection of colours.
“Bright Green,” ”Bright Blue” and “Bright Pink” give this a selection a spring-ready feel. All three colourways are offered in Hi- and Low-top variations. Both the Hi- and Low- shoes are equipped with a white fabric heel strap, high gloss rubber toecaps and midsoles. The former variances of the shoe have included a jumbo-sized heart that disappears into the mid-sole, rotating and repeating hearts and a polka dot pattern. However, this drop has stuck with their Filip Pagowski-designed heart on their canvas.
