March 2020 has been a busy month for collaborations, with the newest addition to the library is the combination of the global sportswear brand, Champion, and the renowned American fashion designer that is Rick Owens.
Specifically, Champion’s collection with the fashion powerhouse was first debuted at Paris Fashion Week back in June 2019, however, now we are looking at a release date just around the corner. As for what to expect, Champion and Owens have focused on celebrating the rich heritage of Champion in a way that fuses the aesthetic that has become so synonymous with Rick Owens.
The collection will be providing contemporary pieces for both men and women, offering a fresh twist on modern essentials. To be precise, the collection looks to a monochrome colour palette across ka number of notable garbs. Good examples of this are the mesh shorts, oversized togas and bodysuits, all rounded off with unique Champion branding. As well as this, expect pieces such as lightweight hooded windbreakers, unlined trench coats, unisex mesh vests, updates to Champion’s signature Reverse Weave sweats and even accessories like slick bucket hats, caps and headbands.
