After Kevin Smith himself announced a He-Man reboot was in the works, fans of the classic cartoon started to wonder which actors would be getting onboard. Something which has mostly, and thankfully, been revealed now.
Specifically, Masters of the Universe: Revelation has now released its cast lineup, and it’s full of pop culture stars. For example, He-Man aka Prince Adam will be played by Chris Wood of Supergirl and The Vampire Diaries, while his love interest and captain of the Royal Guard Teela will be portrayed by Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘s very own Sarah Michelle Gellar. As well as this expect appearances from Game of Thrones actors Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) who will be voicing Evil-Lyn and Man-At-Arms respectively.
However, arguably the biggest star to join the cast is Star Wars‘ Luke Skywalker, who is of course played by Mark Hamill. Fittingly, Hamill has received a part that matches his name and ability, that being of the iconic villain, Skeletor.
