It has been a while now since we first heard that Disney was setting their sites on creating a live-action remake of ‘Mulan’, however, now thanks to a new trailer we can start to figure out what we can expect from the film.
Specifically, this Disney remake will be lead by the renowned directed, Niki Caro, and will see the original 1998 animated-plot return, something which was actually based off of the old Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. As for what else you can expect, the film is set to star Yifei Liu as the beloved freedom fighter, while Donnie Yen will appear as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan, Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor.
