With excitement for the Vans x Harry Potter collaboration ever increasing, many will be relieved to find that we finally have a good look at what we can expect.
Specifically, Vans just shared a single photo, in which all four of the pairs can be seen. As for what to expect, each of the franchise’s iconic houses, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, have been turned into their own respective shoe.
Gryffindor’s Sk8-Hi arrives with a fitting red and gold colourway, rocking stripes against a simple black suede upper. Most notably, this pair boasts the house’s instantly-recognisable lion-emblazoned crest upon the ankle area of added effect. Contrastingly, Ravenclaw’s footwear opts for a blue and white Checkerboard design, something which covers the whole of the Authentic model. This pair also arrives with its respective house branding, featuring the motif boldly on the tongue.
As for Hufflepuff and Slytherin’s pair’s, their’s are a little more subtle, with Hufflepuff’s Slip-On sporting an all-black upper, yellow details and the house’s crest stitched across the front. On the other hand, Slytherin’s offerings more complexly take the form of the brand’s renowned Era silhouette. From here it turns to a scaled texture, snakeskin pattern, and a combination of both silver and dark green to pay homage to the infamous house.
