‘Avengers: Endgame’ was undeniably the most highly anticipated film of 2019, therefore, it’s no surprise to hear that the film has gone on to break multiple records even within just the first few days of its release.
Most notably the film has been able to rake in a mind-boggling $156.7 million on its U.S. opening day alone in the domestic box-office. Consequently, the movie has achieved the highest-earning opening day of all-time in the U.S. As for other locations, Endgame also achieved the same feat in China after bringing in $102 million there.
Interestingly, Disney has estimated that the film will bring in $644 million at the worldwide box office. Amazingly this makes it the biggest global opening in film history, beating out ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ which made $641 million last April.
This, of course, is a huge amount of money. However, it is just the tip of the iceberg that is Marvel’s movie earnings, something which clocks in at $19 billion over the franchise’s history.
