UPDATE – Although Madlib’s website recently stated that the collaborative album is, in fact, real. However, it goes on to add that “there are no official plans” to release it.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE After Mac Miller tragically passed away back in the September of 2018, many of the musician’s fans were going back through his discography and mournfully listening to anything that featured him.

Well, those same people are in luck as it looks like the late rapper is set to appear on an upcoming cut provided by Madlib. Specifically, the song in question is rumoured to be arriving soon after Madlib played the unreleased track at a live set in San Diego this past weekend. As for what to expect, the song features both of previously mentioned creatives as well as the American multi-genre bass guitarist, record producer, singer and songwriter, Thundercat.

However, many are hopeful that this is a sign of bigger things, in fact, just last month it was made known that a collaborative project created by the renowned producer, Madlib, and the now-iconic rapper, Mac Miller, was out there somewhere, could this be just a taste of the bigger things to come?
