After a few teaser images shared a first look into Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin, fans were split as to whether the film would be worth seeing or skipping. However, if you were one of those people then you are in luck as the movie’s first trailer just dropped today and will help you decide as to what decision you should make.

As for what we see, many of the movie’s iconic and beloved characters are introduced alongside the appearance of some of the original’s classic songs and scenes that do of course use a few modern day twists to try and mix things up. Furthermore, the general consensus seems that Will Smith’s interpretation of Genie doesn’t look quite as odd as the first teaser image would suggest.

On a whole, the upcoming flick looks like it could be enjoyable for who have, and have not, watched the original, but I guess we will have to wait and see when the film is released on the 24th of May. Take a look at the full trailer below.
