The 4th of March saw us tragically lose Keith Flint, the English vocalist, dancer and motorcycle racer, best known for his work with the electronic music group, The Prodigy .

Specifically, Keith was found dead at his home in North End, Essex, and after an inquest was launched and a post-mortem carried out, officials found the 49-year-old’s provisional cause of death was hanging. Furthermore, after “police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious,”¬†said¬†Coroner’s officer Lynsey Chaffe.

Keith Flint, who was born in Braintree, rose to fame after becoming the frontman for The Prodigy, a group who went on to secure themselves as one of the most influential electronic groups of our time, bagging themselves a BRIT, 6 MTV awards, 3 MTV accolades and many more.

Just two days before his body was found, Flint took part in a 5km Parkrun in Chelmsford, achieving a personal best time of 21 minutes and 22 seconds. Rest in peace.
