The Japanese fashion designer, DJ, record producer and entrepreneur that is NIGO is most notably known for being the mastermind behind BAPE, in fact, his career has lead to many of the streetwear trends and aesthetics that we commonly see around the scene.
This is exactly why you should be so excited to hear that the famous creative is taking to Sotheby’s, one of the world’s largest brokers of fine and decorative art, jewellery, real estate, and collectables, in order to sell a number of his relics under a venture titled “NIGOLDENEYE® Vol. 1.”.
As for what to expect, most notably we have seen BAPE x KAWS BAPESTA FW-029 KAWS Chompers in Yellow/Green and Green/Black colourways go up for sale. As well as this, expect to be able to cop pieces from The KIMPSON SERIES which features the KAWS’ take on Homer and Marge Simpson. However don’t expect these to come cheap, in fact, the last two items will set you back around $85,000 and $70,000 respectively.
