Finally, comic book fans everywhere can finally stop waiting for their next glimpse into what might take place after the surprising events of ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ as Marvel Studios has finally released the first trailer for the next Avengers.
As for what to expect, ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ answers a few questions that fans had been wondering about. For example, we can expect to see Hawk Eye make a return but this time as Ronin, a darker more gloomy version of the character’s previous form, with this change likely taking place after his family being snapped out of existence. As well as this we have seen that Thanos is, in fact, alive and by judging on what takes place in the comics, he has turned into a humble farmer after his life-long desire has been fulfilled – with the trailer actually including the comic book’s iconic image of his armour acting as a scarecrow. Last but not least, we can see Captain America, Thor and Black Widow, of course, all make an appearance with Ant-Man turning up right at the end.
This is just a few details that have been confirmed, however, in the greater scheme of things we still don’t know a huge amount regarding what will take place or even who the Avengers will be fighting. Although, according to the directors, the Russo brothers, we can expect the three-hour film to live up to its incredibly high expectations. Take a look at the trailer below.
