After receiving our first couple of looks at Joaquin Phoenix’s take on the iconic evil DC Comics character, The Joker, fans of the franchise have been waiting patiently to find out when the next set of details regarding the forthcoming film will make it to the internet.

Well, luckily a couple more of the film’s details have been announced, more precisely Collider reported that the movie’s director, Todd Phillips, has turned to the child actor that is Dante Pereira-Olson to play a young Bruce Wayne, a funny coincidence after the very same actor played the younger version of one of Joaquin Phoenix’s characters not long ago. As well as this Douglas Hodge is supposedly going to be the one who portrays one of the story’s most loved characters, Alfred Pennyworth.

As of yet, no one knows to what extent the two are involved in the film, just that they will be joining the current line of renowned actors such as Robert De Niro, Marc Maron, Frances Conroy, Glenn Fleshler, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Shea Whigham, and Josh Pais.
