After teasing fans with just a glimpse into Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, the director of the upcoming movie shared a short clip that gave us our first proper look at Phoenix’s joker after applying his infamous makeup.
Specifically, the clip that was shared yesterday sees Joaquin eerily standing front and centre while unnerving music starts to play, as the shot starts to creep closer images of the Joker’s appearance begins to flash onto the face of Phoenix before it ends with a full look at what we can expect in the villain’s origins movie.
Take a look at the clip below and sit tight for the movie’s release that is set to take place on the 4th of October 2019.
