The Hawaiian visual artist that is Christy Lee Rogers has taken to the water for her ‘Muses’ photo series in order to produce a collection of photos like none other.

Specifically, Christy took a step away from traditional photography when she submerged her group of subjects in water during the middle of the night and photographed them using the refraction of light.

The effect produced from this nontraditional method created images that aesthetically looked more like Renaissance painting rather than any photo.
