As time goes by technology is slowly but surely taking over the markets with various artists beginning to drop projects exclusively on streaming services rather than the usual array of outlets. However, that didn’t faze the American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, Future, as the all of a sudden release of ‘BeastMode 2’ still saw it become the highest-charting streaming-exclusive project on the Billboard 200 chart.
Specifically, the project that dropped earlier this month achieved the number three spot on the list of the 200 most popular albums and EPs in the United States. This trumped Chance The Rapper‘s Coloring Book album that made it to number 18, as for numbers, the project raked in an impressive 73.5 million streams across platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and others.
