The Portuguese professional footballer, Ronaldo, has been on many people’s minds since rumours began circulating not too long ago that the Real Madrid star would be leaving after his 9-year run at the club. Well, now it has been confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave the Spanish club as he signed a deal that sees arguably the world’s best footballer move to the Italian champions, Juventus.
Specifically, the transfer will see £99.2 million swap hands, not too shabby as Ronaldo first signed from Manchester United to Real Madrid for a then-record fee of €94 million. Given his age, this signing is an unheard of amount, and so it should be as the goal-scoring machine has won 16 titles with the club, 4 of those being the Champions League and two being the Spanish league, this was all the while scoring 451 goals in 438 games. However, this isn’t to say Juventus don’t deserve him as the Italian club has won each of the last seven Italian league titles.
