If you have ever wondered what the air quality of the cities around the world is like then you are in luck as the British artist Michael Pinksy has a new installation located at London’s Somerset House aims to let you experience just that.
Titled ‘Pollution Pods’, the exhibition consists of a number of domes that recreate the levels of particulate matter, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide and carbon monoxide of a variety of the world’s most renownedly polluted cities. Specifically, the series reproduces the amazing conditions of Tautra Island so people can compare it to the not-so-good air of Sao Paulo, New Delhi, London and of course Beijing.
