Although Blonde and Endless technically dropped in 2016, it seemed like it wasn’t until the spring and summer of 2017 that they really had their full impact – this was probably due to the number of shows Ocean did in this time period. Since then he has been going from strength to strength with the release of his standalone tracks ‘Biking’, ‘Lens’ and ‘Provider’. It has been arguably the best year to date for Frank Ocean and that’s why we got excited when he stated:
“If you liked two thousand and seventeen then you’ll love two thousand and eighteen.”
This paired with the fact that he took to Tumblr to let us know that he has already made an album makes us hopeful that there is one scheduled for 2018. Specifically, the artist wrote this:
“‘Well! I made the album before 30. I just ain’t put that b*tch out!’ – quotes from an interview I haven’t given haha.”
