Australia’s Middleweight contender, Robert Whittaker, is set to step into the octagon once again with Israel Adesanya, the three-time reigning champion from New Zealand.
The fight is taking place at UFC 271 and is unsurprisingly the main event. The last time these two faced-off was back during the October of 2019 at UFC 243, a night that saw Israel leaving victorious. Since then, Adesanya has defended his title three times, and succesfully at that. As for Whittaker, his loss clearly didn’t get to him as he continued to fight through the Middleweight division, winning against Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, and Kevin Gastelum.
