While most will be focusing on Halloween at the end of this month, sneakerheads will be likely turn their attention to Nike’s latest Dunks instead. Specifically, a green and blue colourway of the beloved skate-ready model will be released globally.

As for what to expect, the Dunk Low “Siempre Familia” is paying tribute to the Día de los Muertos – for those who don’t know, that’s Mexico’s traditional two-day celebration of the dead.

The whole sneaker boasts an all-over reptile-skin aesthetic. To be precise, we see a green scaley texture adorn the toe boxes, quarters and ankle collars while a black and olive green snakeskin effect covers all of the shoe’s overlays – with just two exceptions. These two exceptions are the Swoosh and heel, both of which turn to a contrasting turquoise instead. Last but not least, hectic red stitching can be found layered upon these patches of blue, while a yellow, red-eyed lizard rounds the whole pair off.

Take a look at the Nike Dunk Low “Siempre Familia” below. If you like what you see then sit tight as the pair are set to drop on the 29th of October via a few exclusive retailers as well as Nike’s SNKRS app.
