The double MOBO-winning artist, Shakka, has followed up his previous release, ‘When You Pull Up,’ with a brand new track. However, unlike his last cut, he isn’t solo – no pun intended.
Specifically, the West London native has reached across the pond to offer fans yet another R&B bop, this time with the instantly recognisable sound of the Washington DC rapper, Goldlink. The summertime track, which was produced by Komenz, boasts a range of drums, all of which compliment the dance-suitable bass that backs it up. Rounding off the three-minute single are electric melodies and high-pitched vocal samples in the background.
You can listen to Shakka’s latest single, ‘Solo,’ below. If you like what you hear then you’re in luck as he is set to release a full-length album later this year.
