The renowned UK-based band, Wolf Alice, have excited fans everywhere by announcing the release date of their highly-anticipated third album, ‘Blue Weekend’. Set to drop on the 11th of June, the project boasts a new sound, something we are introduced to via their new single, “The Last Man On Earth.”
“The Last Man On Earth” fuses classic songwriting with pin-sharp choruses. The track is powered by pianos and drums, with surreal synths and strings adding the finishing touches. The lyrics on top continue to show us why Ellie Rowsell is considered such a talented songwriter, helping the band to achieve the Mercury Prize in 2018. The song arrives with a video by director Jordan Hemingway, featuring Rowsell in the spotlight and signalling a bold introduction to this new era of Wolf Alice.
