Nike is back again with another “Sashiko” colourway, however, this time around the sportswear brand is focusing on the Air Force 1. The classic silhouette has been redressed in a number of colours, textures and materials, all of which combine to give a great overall aesthetic.

As for what to expect, multiple Sashiko patterns not only make up a lot of the construction but provides some notable colour combinations. Additionally, expect Japanese characters embroidered onto the heel, this is in a vivid gold that contrasts the black and blue tones across the midsection.

The quarter panel features speckles of white, something which harmonises with equally-light tone of the eyestays, heel, tongue and laces. Rounding off the Air Force 1 “Sashiko” is a clean Swoosh and a white midsole to match.

Take a look at the Air Force 1 “Sashiko” below. If you like what you see then sit tight as the pair are set to drop via Nike’s online store in the coming weeks.
