The Tokyo-based label that is AMBUSH has yet again teamed with Converse. However, this time around the duo are using it as an opportunity to push the bounds of traditional gear.

Specifically, the latest AMBUSH x Converse collab takes the form of a revamped boot, with its construction making it perfect as outdoor utility wear. As for what to expect, the boot boasts a chunky sole unit, one that was inspired by the Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged. To further add to its weather-resistance and functionality, the upper is crafted from reliable technical upper while the collar is made from leather.

When it comes to the aesthetics, Yoon Ahn, founder of AMBUSH, has dressed the pair in two colourways, the first being all black, the second being all Blithe Blue. Rounding off the AMBUSH x Converse collaboration is lace loops, stark “AMBUSH” branding at the bottom of the heel, as well as a Chuck Taylor badge on the ankle.
