Nike and the Jordan Brand have sold more Air Jordan 1s this year than phones hacked by the NSA. Given the impressive sales figures, it’s not surprising that the two are releasing one of the most beloved colourways of the silhouette.

Specifically, the Air Jordan 1 is looking to continue its momentum with the release of the shoe’s “University Blue” iteration. The colourway has been a big favourite of sneakerheads, however, you were more likely to get yourself a COVID vaccine this year than to get this colourway.

The design relies on its easy-on-the-eye baby blue hue, a colour which takes up the majority of the sneaker’s surface area. On the toebox and quarter panel arrives a clean contrasting white, with the latter sitting underneath the pair’s black Swoosh. This black continues its appearance on the ankle collar, laces and tongue. Interestingly, this pair opts for a suede and leather construction, as opposed to the usual all-leather. Rounding off the Air Jordan 1 “University Blue” is Nike branding on the tongue and the ball-and-wings logo in black on the collar flap.

Take a look at the Air Jordan 1 “University Blue” below. If you like what you see then sit tight as the pair are set to drop in February 2021. Although an official price and date is yet to be announced, you can sign up to our newsletter so you can be the first to know.
