After debuting the shoe at her “Number 6” LFWM presentation in September 2020, Paria Farzaneh’s collaborative Converse is finally making its way to stockists. The sneaker came about after Paria Farzaneh‘s sleek and street-suitable approach met one of Converse’s most classic basketball shoes.

As for what to expect, the duo have revamped the Pro Leather X2 silhouette, a hightop shoe that naturally boasts a split across the upper. Paria Farzaneh then took this unique construction and applied her signature aesthetic to the upper half of the shoe. To be specific, this signature aesthetic takes the form of Iranian paisley prints made by traditional wood blocking techniques and utility-inspired styles.

As for what else you can expect from the Converse x Paria Pro Leather X2, the sneakers boasts an elevated, exaggerated outsole to include rugged traction. Additionally, expect some technical aesthetic upgrades, most notable taking the form of 3M reflective detailing. Rounding off the pair is the Converse logo on the heel, quarter panel and tongue, the latter of which sits above Paria’s own branding.

Take a look at the unisex Converse x Paria Farzaneh Pro Leather X2 below. If you like what you see then head over to Converse’s online store on the 27th of November to cop yourself a pair.
