Following the reveal of Supreme and Stone Island’s latest collaboration, Canada Goose and Boston-based streetwear brand Concepts are releasing a jacket of their own. Now, although the collaboration only consists of one piece, it’s safe to say that it’s a strong enough of a staple that it can stand on its own.
As for what to expect, Canada Goose’s MacMillan Parka is the garment that received Concepts’ revamp. Interestingly, the two brands have focused on covering the classic silhouette with a fully reflective textile. Not only this, but the eye-catching material is water-resistant as well as windproof.
The duo has done their best to offer a functional yet aesthetically pleasing design. Now, although some people can be turned away by reflective garments, this piece comes across grey for the most part, only in a dark setting with direct light does the item “light-up.” Rounding off the parka is a reflective disc that boasts either Canada Goose or Concepts’ branding depending on the angle it’s viewed at.
