With ever more brands looking to reduce their impact on the environment and promote animal welfare, it’s unsurprising that Superdry has got on board, dropping a collection of Vegan-friendly footwear.

Superdry’s AW20 sees the introduction of these Vegan Trainers, an effective meeting of style, function and ethics. These designs have been approved by the Vegan Society and rigorously tested 172 times to ensure that all ingredients, raw materials and components do not contain any animal derivatives, product or animal by-product during the manufacturing and production process.

These unisex trainers come in a variety of colours, as well as more subtle black and white iterations. As for the reliability of a vegan construction, they have been stress tested over 250,000 times to ensure durability. Furthermore, the materials used are 33% recycled, with the uppers made from high-grade recycled PU, or polyurethane, an artificial leather, which make the sneakers easy to clean.
