London’s own skateboard extraordinaries, Palace, have just released an official trailer for their upcoming collaboration with Rapha. The collaboration is part of Palace’s 2020 winter collection and will be worn by the EF Pro Cycling team for this year’s Giro d’Italia bike race.

This is not the first time Palace have released their own sporting wear; back in 2018 they designed the Adidas athletes Wimbledon apparel. They also released their own golf collection with Adidas, earlier this year.

Since 1931 the colour for the Giro d’Italia race has been maglia rosa. However in true Palace style, it has been scrapped for a Rapha Palace Tri-Ferg logo and a rather bold pattern! As well as cycling jerseys, the collection also consists of bib-shorts a helmet and eyewear from Swedish brand, POC. As for off the track, Palace have designed a selection of hoodies, T-shirts, long sleeves, oxford shirts, caps and a distinctive GORE-TEX jacket; all featuring a performance-based aesthetic.

The Palace X Rapha collection is due to release via the Palace Website and Rapha Website on October 9. You can take a look at the whole collection below and be sure to subscribe to our newsletter, to never miss a drop date.
