It was teased earlier this week that Verdy would be collaborating with none other than, Minions. The little yellow fellas can be seen alongside Verdy’s own Vick in this fun-loving collection.
It’s been 10 years since Despicable Me hit the big screens – giving the world their first glimpse of the Minions and their funny ways. Since then, two more movies have been made including a stand-alone Minions film. It’d be pretty safe to say they’ve become an icon for this generation, as well as your Mum’s favourite Facebook meme! This collection sees them alongside Verdy’s, Vick, character; who over the years has become a streetwear pillar, for his play-full half panda, half rabbit looks and messages.
The collaboration sees a variety of graphics on clothing, decks, stickers, pins and a bandana. The bandana, pins and t-shirt also come in their own limited edition packaging. On the deck and back of the hoodies we see the same graphic; a yellow tulip in a can being played with by the Minions and their belongings. On the hoodies we also see ‘Wasted Youth’ and ‘Minions’ logo hits, positioned on the front and hood of the garment.
